Here, you will find some of my freelance, open source, and personal work based on latest web technologies. At random times, I will also add some other stuffs like tutorials, travel pictures, dvd or book reviews and work out/diet tips on my blog.
Me and Work
I am a fulltime software engineer in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and does freelance web developement projects and they usually mean something to me. My day job requires me to adopt Scrum and other Agile mashups, so I work well in both team and one-man environment. Partaking in some less serious freelance work allows me to learn and apply new things and get some of my creative juice out of my head.
Like anyone who is running on the hamster wheel, I do not enjoy repetitive work, boring meetings with managers and being too tight on a leash. Let's just say I have a mind of my own and I do not like to be bossed around too much doing "nonsense" or mind-numbing tasks.
Here's what I am focused on:
- Web development - High preference on developing web applications with Django. I will also consider JEE + OpenCMS if you must go with open source ENTERPRISE solutions.
- E-commerce - Online shopping cart framework using Python + Django + Satchmo.
- AJAX + CSS with JQuery - Web UI that does not require page loading.
- Consultation - Help with CSS suggestions, web development languages and framework, including training and tutorials (seminar in the future).

This site is hosted by Site5, who currently offers a single plan with great features. Can u imagine 750GB webspace and 7.5TB bandwidth for only US$5 a month? Last but not least, I have to thank Rambling Soul for sharing his free web templates. I have modified the "I Feel Lucky" web template to suit my needs.
